Thurs 22nd June - Ben Ledi the back way

Ben Ledi is a great mountain, only 14m short of being a Munro. We'll take a leisurely and quiet way up the mountain from Invertrossachs with a final carry and push onto the lovely summit. The normal way down is then down the flowing ridgeline ahead, but we'll drop back down to the bealach to descend into the Stank Glen, avoiding many of the crowds, and all of the steps on the tourist track. Stank Glen has its own trails which we can sample on the way down, and then we have a short path ride back to the start. A great one for a first proper mountain experience, but still techy and hard enough to keep everyone awake for the whole day.
