Monday 19th June - Ben Lomond

Big mountain adventure in a small group. Weekdays are the only time to ride this popular mountain, and even then there will be plenty of company. Enjoy the banter on the way up with the walkers and laugh with them as we descend past them later on - the people are definitely part of the experience as much as the amazing views and steep techy rocky loveliness - definitely one to give your brake rotors a wide berth at the stops unless you want an interesting bike related scar to take home as well as a wide grin. It's about a 4 hour push and carry to get to the summit, then obligatory grinning scenic pics and then we start our way back down again in sections to let the walkers disperse and our rotors to cool.
